What is Thati?
Thati is a two-year leadership training program that prepares university and college graduates to take on leadership roles within the Sharjah government. Our unparalleled leadership development program acknowledges the challenges faced by modern organisations. Students will learn how to tackle these challenges by being immersed in classroom discussions, project work, presentations, and on-the-job work experience.
Do you accept male and female applicants?

What are the entry requirements to the Thati Leadership Program?
Be an Emirati.
Current year graduate with a GPA above 3.
An honours student in your chosen degree.
Display some work and/or volunteer experience.

What Majors do you accept?
We accept fresh graduates from all majors.
What are the official working hours?
Our working hours always depends on the organization you will be placed at.
How long in the mentorship program?
The Thati Leadership Program runs for 2 years. Upon successful completion of your 1st year, you enter an administrative or management role within the Sharjah government and observed during your placement for 1 year, after which you will become an official graduate.
What is the process for students wishing to withdraw from the program early?
We take great care in choosing only the most committed students. However, if you are facing difficulty during the program, reach out to your student advisor for help to keep you on your leadership
What is the pay grade
You will be enrolled as a fresh graduate on pay grade 4 in accordance with Sharjah government regulations.
What courses are available during the Thati Leadership Program?
Here are a few examples of the types of courses you can expect to take while you're on the program:
- Core induction A general introduction to life at Sharjah organizations. Our graduate program, our Organization and our plans for the future.
- Leadership skills Develop the skills you need to be a leader.
- Management skills Learn the basic skills of managing people.
- Financial awareness Get an insight into the financial side of our Organization. Learn about balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and how to financially manage nonprofit Organizations.
What are the benefits of choosing Thati?
You will be enrolled as a fresh graduate on grade 4 as Sharjah government rules and regulations.
The benefits from the program would be;
- Defined career path At the end of your 2 years period, depending upon your performance, you will be placed in a management position within one of the Sharjah organizations.
- Salary whilst training Not only do we invest in your training and development, we will also give you a monthly salary, equivalent to a fresh graduate within Sharjah Government.
- Training and development We'll give you the chance to take control of your own career. It's up to you to decide where and how far you go. But we'll also give you all the support you need to get there - whether it's training, career advice or encouragement. It starts on day one, with your induction. This is your chance to get a better idea of who we are, what we're trying to achieve as an Organization, and where you could fit in. Then the real training starts: approximately 30 days of formal courses in total each year. This isn't just training for training's sake. It's been designed to give you the skills you'll need to get ahead in the Sharjah Organizations.
